Tidjani “TJ” Camara has been a Fitness Professional since 2005. Coach Camara is originally from Dakar, Senegal, which is located in Africa. TJ initially came to the United States in 2002 to further his education in Accounting, but quickly fell in love with training after working at his school gym as a “towel boy”. There, he discovered a passion for the gym environment, most importantly a love to help, and interact with people. At this point he chose to switch from Accounting to study Exercise Physiology, and pursue a career Training. Throughout his successful career, he has helped clients reach varied goals, including general fitness and weight management to improvement in athletic performance.
His extensive clientele has included both males and females ages 7 to 90, and he has worked with large groups of athletes ages 10-18, as well as college athletes. In addition, TJ has experience working with cardiac rehab patients as a student intern at the East Texas Medical Center (ETMC), in Tyler, TX. TJ also completed a year long internship at Accelerate Performance Enhancement Center, also in Tyler, TX, while pursuing his Master’s Degree in 2010. TJ is a caring, compassionate, and motivating trainer who places his clients' safety and success as his top priority.
